Yanks-Angels ALCS
October 11, 2009 by Alex Geshwind
Over the past few years, the Angels have dominated the Yankees, knocking them out of the playoffs in 2002 and 2005. However, this Yankees team does seem to be different, and with home field advantage, they could get that monkey off their back.
Game one on Friday will feature CC Sabathia and John Lackey, game two Burnett and Weaver, game three Pettitte and Kazmir, and game four, Gaudin and Saunders.
The Dodgers also swept their series, and will face the winner of Philly/Colorado.
I’ll take the Yankees over the Angels, and then over the Dodgers in the World Series. Really, anything could happen, but these next few weeks are going to be great for baseball fans.
