Baseball withdrawal & the hot stove

December 1, 2008 by

Fantasy Bullpen is back following a month long post World Series hiatus. We have dealt with our baseball season withdrawal and our ready to begin posting again. A lot has happened in the past month for Fantasy Bullpen. We are switching hosting and we (hopefully) have settled on a plan for expanding the site and making it more user-based (and friendly).

Because of the lack of fantasy related activity during the offseason, the blog is going to become very hot stove centric until spring training. That isn’t the big news though. Over the next couple of months we are going to be working on Fantasy Bullpen 2.0 in a serious way, spending every second we can on it. We aren’t going to rush it, but we do want it launched before pitchers and catchers report. We will make sure to keep the blog updated with the latest hot stove news, and answer any mailbag questions, however because of the time we will be spending on site improvements we will have to, unfortunately, put plans for the draft kit on hold. If you still need advice send us an email and we will be happy to help. Meanwhile, as far as a draft kit we recommend, Ron Shandler’s Baseball Forcaster is the best out there if you are willing to spend a little.

We went through the code for the header and made those links work again, and we took the links out of the sidebar so hopefully that helps. We won’t be able to make many upgrades to the site over the next few months because of the focus on a complete revamp, however if there are any issues please contact us.

Stay tuned for more tomorrow and our first hot stove update of the winter.
